Dr. Marit Gorr received her Bachelor of Science in Dietetics from UW Madison in 1984 and practiced as a Registered Dietitian in the industry as well as in a clinical hospital setting. In 1998, Dr. Gorr returned to UW Madison to complete her Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine. She has practiced veterinary medicine in the Milwaukee Metro area for over 20 years. She has provided care for dogs, cats, and small-pocket pets. She is pleased to be joining the Small Animal Hospital and looks forward to serving you and your pets.
Dr. Gorr shares a home with her husband and two children. The family also includes two Shetland Sheepdogs, Kipper, and Findley. Additionally, she has a very special cat named Lady Jane that she rescued. For fun, Dr. Gorr enjoys tending her seasonal vegetable garden as well as her perennial flower beds. She also enjoys baking, biking, kayaking, and snow-shoeing.
